AirPods users get to enjoy a cool popup whenever they pair or connect AirPods with their iPhone. If you like the AirPods connection animation and want to have it for your wired headphones such as the wired EarPods, then the BrokePods tweak is here to help.
With BrokePods tweak you can add a similar looking AirPods style animation to iPhone. The popup and animation appears whenever you plug in your wired EarPods to your iPhone through its lightning port.
The popup carries the title ‘BrokePods’ and even has an image of the wired EarPods complete with the lightning connector.
The BrokePods popup appears on the screen when a pair of EarPods is plugged into it and can be dismissed with the ‘Done’ button.
BrokePods tweak is available under the developer’s private repo (https://donato-fiore.github.io/repo/) as a free download. It works with iOS 13 and iOS 14 powered devices.
You can add developer’s repo in the package manager of your choice and then proceed to download it. The tweak does not have any settings to configure and the popup should get triggered when you plug in your wired EarPods.
