CCRecord Tweak Brings Screen Recording To iOS 10

If you like to record your iPhone or iPad’s screen and use one of those third-party apps to do so, then we have a better solution for you. The newly released CCRecord tweak, which is fully compatible with iOS 10 makes it possible for users to quickly record what’s on their device’s screen. The tweak adds a ‘Record’ button in Control Center’s shortcut menu, which when pressed initiates the screen recording. Once you are done you can also stop the recording by pressing the same button again. There are many benefits of having a screen recording feature, as it can be used for both fun and educational purposes.

While iOS lacks a native screen recording function CCRecord allows users to have the next best thing, as it only adds a record button in the Control Center and not a full-fledge application with complicated configuration options. Although some options would have been useful such as ability to change recording size among other things. The recordings are stored in the Camera roll accessible through the Photos application. The tweak also records audio, which is very useful.

If you are interested and are jailbroken on iOS 10, then you can download CCRecord tweak for free from Cydia. The developer has promised more updates in the future including a fix for icon spacing, which looks like a mess at this moment. While it works on iOS 10 it does not support iOS 9, yet.
