Team TaiG has finally updated their iOS 8.3 jailbreak tool in order to add support for the Cydia Substrate. This means now every new jailbreak installation will feature the iOS 8.3 compatible version of Cydia Substrate. This is a significant news as most jailbreak tweaks will be able to work on devices jailbroken on iOS 8.1.3 – iOS 8.3. It will also allow developers whose tweaks are based on Cydia substrate to update their hacks. Previously a version of the tool was leaked on the Internet, however TaiG team warned users against using it.

We have been curating a list of Cydia tweaks that were already running on iOS 8.3, even without Cydia Substrate support. The list was quite limited and most popular and essential tweaks were not included in it. This obviously changes now as with this update users will be able to take full advantage of the jailbreak.

In addition to bringing updated Cydia Substrate TaiG 2.1.2 also features fixes for bugs that caused the tool to stuck at 20 and 60 percent marks. The update also makes the tool compatible with latest version of iTunes.
