uYou Tweak Adds A Download Manager And Offline Media Player To YouTube App

uYou is a new YouTube Download Manager tweak for jailbroken iPhones that makes it possible for YouTube users to download YouTube audio and videos for offline playback.

This tweak features a built-in YouTube downloader and manager as well as a media player that lets you enjoy the downloaded content within the YouTube app.

uYou YouTube download manager is packed with features that one finds to be missing from the official YouTube app. This includes ability to play saved media in a custom player that can playback YouTube content in the background without YouTube Premium subscription.

uYou has mini player support that lets you listen to or watch downloaded YouTube content while browsing the YouTube app.

uYou Download Manager for YouTube offers an ad-free experience, this means unlike some other tweaks it does not add any extra ads to your YouTube app. The app does not block YouTube ads though however the developer has promised this feature will be coming in later updates.

In addition to letting you playback YouTube video in its custom player uYou also enables you to export downloaded YouTube videos to the camera roll of your device. This allows you to view downloaded videos outside of the YouTube app and share it with others via AirPlay etc.

The tweak also supports scrubbing and other media controls through the Control Center media module, which makes it easy to control the playback when using uYou’s background playback capabilities.

uYou is a free Download Manager tweak for YouTube that is available on developer’s repo as a free download.

You can add developer Miro’s repo (http://miro92.com/repo) to Cydia or any other package manager of your choice and download it for free.
