Apple Releases iOS 15.1 And iPadOS 15.1 Updates, Download IPSW Here

Apple has just released the iOS 15.1 and iPadOS 15.1 updates to published and they are now available on compatible devices. iOS 15.1 is a major software release that Apple had been beta testing with developers and public for over a month.

iOS 15.1 and iPadOS 15.1 can be downloaded on a compatible iPhone, iPad or iPod touch by going to Software Update section found under Settings -> General.

iOS 15.1 finally brings the SharePlay feature to iOS 15 users. This feature was initially announced at WWDC 2021 however it was delayed when Apple released iOS 15.0 to public. SharePlay allows users to listen to music, watch videos, movies and TV shows with their friends over FaceTime.

iOS 15.1 also brings Camera app upgrades for iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max by enabling the ProRes video capture feature. It also disables the automatic camera switching when taking macro photos and videos on new iPhones.

With iOS 15.1 Apple has added COVID-19 Vaccination card support to the Wallet app, allowing users to add verifiable vaccination card to their iPhone’s Wallet app with ease.

With this update Mandarin Chinese (Taiwan) support has been added to the Translate app and system-wide. The Home app now has new automation triggers that can be enabled based on the current reading of a HomeKit-enabled humidity, air quality or light level sensor.

Shortcuts app also includes pre-built actions that allow users to add overlay text on images and gifs. Users are also getting a new collection of games for Siri.
