Apple Announces Education Focused Event For March 27

Apple has announced an education focused event that will take place on March 27 at a high school in Chicago. The company has sent out invitations for the event, the invitation graphic as seen above features an Apple logo drawn with a Pen tool. It also carries a tagline that says ‘Lets take a field trip’.

The invitation graphic also says ‘Join us to hear creative new ideas for teachers and students.’ indicating this is an education focused event. The event that will take place at Lane Tech College Prep High School, Chicago, Illinois will start at 10AM on March 27, 2018.

Just like any Apple event details about it are scarce. However rumors do claim that Apple could end up announcing new education focused products including new models of iPad or reduce the price of 9.7-inch iPad to $259 from $329. Other rumors claim Apple could introduce a new version of MacBook Air with better specs and an affordable price of $799 to $899.

MacBook Air is already popular among students and an updated version will solidify its position as a budget Mac for students. ClassKit based Classroom features could also get announced at the event. Some even believe a second generation Apple Pencil could also make a debut at this event. (Source)
