Apple Announces WWDC20 Livestream And Lineup

As we draw close to June 22’s WWDC20 kickoff, Apple has announced the official details for the WWDC20 livestream and lineup for the 4 day event. This is the first time ever in its 31 year history that WWDC will be taking place entirely online with no physical presence from the developer community or media.

Apple has revealed that the Special Event Keynote will take place on June 22 at 10 a.m PDT. The live event will be live streamed on multiple platforms directly from Apple Park. Apple will be streaming the event at following places.

  • Apple.com
  • Apple Developer App
  • Apple Developer Website
  • Apple TV
  • YouTube

In China Apple will be streaming the event at following places.

  • Tencent
  • iQIYI
  • Bilibili
  • Youku

In addition to WWDC20 livestream Apple has also revealed its lineup for Platforms State of the Union and over 100 Engineering Sessions. All of this will be streamed online from June 22 to June 26.

Apple is expected to announce iOS 14, iPadOS 14, macOS 10.16, tvOS 14, watchOS 7 and other software updates. The company is also rumored to be announcing its transition from Intel Processors to its in-house ARM chips on the Mac. This particular announcement is expected to become the highlight of this year’s keynote.
